Live Model Drawing

Beginning in June, a live clothed model drawing class will be offered at the Senior Center, 311 N. Main Street, Cloverdale. Initially, models will come from among the participants and their families. No instruction—just draw and paint. All levels welcome.

Cost is minimal—make a $2.00 donation to the Senior Center for overhead expenses.

Artists must bring their own materials—pencils, charcoal, paint, paper—whatever they would like

Thursdays, 1:00-4:00pm Just come on July 7th

Member Meeting April 9th

There will be a general membership meeting at my house on April 9th at 2pm. (no telling when it will end) The address is 100 S. Jefferson Street, Cloverdale, CA. We are at the corner of West 1st street and Jefferson. Look for a yard full of ivy and a 50′s ranch style house.

Bring your documents, monthly dues, inventory and any fixtures or display cases you may want to use or donate. We will answer any questions and discus our policies and procedures.

CHECK OUT this great article that our former Mayor wrote about Local Folkal. It was printed in the Sonoma County Gazette and it kind of shows what the community thinks of us. The Gazette is one of those free papers that you can get at hundreds if not thousands of retailers all over Sonoma County. Great exposure!

Dine & Donate Night

Cafe Nitro is sponsoring a “Dine & Donate” night on Thursday March 31st from 5pm to 8pm. There will be live music and a special drawing for a night at Auberge on the Vineyard bed and breakfast. They will also be a raffle and some really great food.

The Whole Town Turned Out

The fundraiser last Friday was a huge success. There were times when people had to wait for others to leave so they could get in. I told Chris from Cafe Nitro that we should have 30 to 40 people and we ended up with over 150 and some have said they just drove by because of the crowd.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped to make it so successful and those of you who were able to attend. It is obvious that the community is behind us. Check out our donor list for the names of all the merchants that donated to the cause.

It was such a fun night that Cafe Nitro wants to sponsor a “Dine & Donate” night next Thursday from 5pm to 8pm. Stay tuned for more details
